Five projects are submitted for the plastic track, pool 1. The projects have a strong focus on the industrial ecosystem as this is representing a critical element of the value-chain: this is where materials are selected products are designed, and the actual recycling occurs.

Agroindustrial side-streams will be exploited for cellulose nanofibers (CNF) that will form the basis for composite manufacture.

The vision is to demonstrate viable, circular value chains and implementation pathways for recycling of household waste plastics, and that such implementation can substantially support the Danish recycling requirements and CO2 reduction targets.
Circularity of Industrial Thermoplastic for high quality recycling
The vision is to enable companies to use recycled plastics in their products to the highest possible value application, preferably in their own products.

The Trace Innomission 4 - Pool 2 conference
Held at Volkerts Fylke on January 24th brought companies and scientists together in inspiring meetings. Challenges were discussed and laid the foundation for new projects, that will help companies and the society to work with a circular transition.
